Bio:
The first time I went to a Moves Fitness class was in 2002 after finally being persuaded by my Cousin, Wendy Marshall, to go along to one of her classes. I seem to remember that I was the only man there. I was all over the place, waving around the wrong arm,
going in the wrong direction, I was left standing when it came to pivots and I thought a grapevine was something to do with wine.

These mistakes alone (and being the only bloke in class) would have been enough to put me off and never come back.
However, in that first hour, with my first taste of Moves Fitness, I got it!
Moves Fitness isn't just about exercise. It's about having fun, making friends, feeling part of something, having an hour just having a good time and not worrying about life for a while.
I was hooked and Wendy's classes became part of my weekly routine. A big thank you to Wendy & her students for introducing me to Moves Fitness and for all the fun I had in your classes.

In October 2004 I made it to the one of the Moves Fitness weekends on the Isle of Wight. Wendy, with a little help from Julie David had almost convinced me to become a teacher and it was on this weekend that I first met Cindy Gilbert.
Cindy asked if I would like to become a teacher?, actually she told me I HAD to become a teacher, everyone who knows Cindy would understand that I didn't have a chance of saying anything other than yes! I started my training in spring 2005.

My first class was at Morden Assembly Hall in July 2005. I have been very lucky with all the classes that, over time, have been handed over to me but, I must give thanks to all the students that came to my first few classes at Morden and convinced me to keep going in those first few weeks. Your acceptance of me after previously having two fantastic teachers (Nicky & Sue) is another example of what makes Moves students the best kind to teach. Over the last two years I have gone on to experience this in all five of my classes and at all the classes I have subbed during this time.

Why not become part on this amazing exercise experience, come along & try your first class for free!
We all get together for coffee at the Kings Centre Coffee Shop 11am first Friday of the month, straight after class.

Hope to see you soon. Scott x
