Asked Questions

Fitness class.

What
fitness level should I be to come to a Moves Fitness class?
Moves
Fitness is for all fitness levels. All the routines can be
adapted to your fitness level.
Of course it is recommended
you seek your GP's approval before beginning any exercise programme. What
should I wear?
We insist you wear what you are most comfortable
in! Leggings and t-shirts are fine, or you could wear a fitness top
and flared exercise trousers. What we do insist on is that your clothes
are safety-minded (ie though stylish, extra-long wide-leg trousers can
cause you to trip), and that you wear comfortable, well-fitting fitness
shoes. Do
I have to bring anything?
You may
want to bring a water bottle, a towel, a set of weights and an exercise
mat if you have them. What
age group attends Moves Fitness classes?
Our classes
are attended by all ages. At the time of this writing, our
oldest student is 98! Do
I have to pre-book to come to a class?
No. Just turn up! Do
you offer creche facilities?
Creche facilities are
not offered by Moves Fitness. Check with the individual class
venue for information about their creche service. How
long is a class?
A
typical class is 50 minutes, which includes a warmup, stretch, aerobics,
cool down, weights and floor work. How
much does it cost?
Classes
are run individually by our teachers, so the cost may vary slightly,
but generally the cost is £5.00 per class.
Do
I have to pay a joining fee
and attend regularly?
Well, of course you should attend regularly for your good health and
because it is such good fun! But no, there is no joining fee.
Moves Fitness is a drop in pay-as-you-go-option. However, we offer big discounts for booking a Passport (a 10 discounted class passbook). Having the Passport is the best way to pay and you get the
highest value for your pound!
What
kind of music is used?
Moves Fitness routines are choreographed
to current top 40 hits mixed with old favourites. How
do I become an instructor?
and find out! I'd
like to have Moves Fitness taught at my school / office. Can that be
arranged? Depending on the availability of teachers in your
area, yes, certainly!
